Two versions of the kidney are depicted: one illustration is completely free of intrarenal vasculature, focusing on the gross internal structure of the kidney, while the other illustration depicts the same overall kidney structure with the renal vessels and intrarenal vasculature revealed, focusing on intrarenal artery segmentation and distribution.

This series of digital pen & ink illustrations were developed for use in a PowerPoint presentation for Dr. George S. Goding, Jr. depicting four key steps of his surgical technique for recurrent laryngeal reinnervation by ansa cervicalis. Laryngeal reinnervation is an effective rehabilitation option for the treatment of unilateral vocal fold paralysis, a condition in which damage to the recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) interrupts motor signals to the intrinsic muscles of the larynx. Reinnervation of the RLN achieved through anastomosis with the ansa cervicalis can provide improvement to the muscle tone and mass of the laryngeal muscles, resulting in restoration of vocal ability.

A more concise understanding of meniscal anatomy is understood to improve outcomes of meniscal repair (Śmigielski et al., 2014). This illustration separates each zone of the medial meniscus with a grey tone to easily stand out against the pen & ink style of the illustration.

The objective of this illustration is to act as a supporting document for the demonstration of the endoscopic plantar fasciotomy procedure using the MicroAire® SmartRelease® with custom steps developed by Dr. Mark Tozzi. This custom surgical technique emphasizes a more distal incision placement on the foot compared to the method of incision placement in the current surgical technique guide.

Each segmental bronchi and lobe are assigned a color to establish a direct anatomical relationship. Each color/structure is given a number corresponding to the table containing the name of the specific segmental lobe.
